Titled, dated and signed in ink in lower margin of the recto of the print. Born in 1944 in Casablanca, Algiers, Jeanmougin is now a local Marseille photographer. His book "Marseille/Marseilles" (1992) posits the city as, above all, a multicultural space. He was a photojournalist with the Viva agency and has worked all over the world for the last 40 years; his work has been shown in collective and solo exhibitions internationally (in France, Germany, Morocco and the USA), as well as featured in many publications. An upcoming exhibition will take place at the CornerHouse art gallery in Manchester, UK.
